Dear Inventor, Protect Your Inventions!
Hello,
I'm Stephen, the author of Patent
Pending in 72 Hours and I want you to take me and my book
very seriously. I wish I had this set of instructions before
I spent investor's capital.
I
lost nearly $10,000.00 of one investor's money, as you can see from the
check below. Its
a real check, and it's really gone! I knew I
had a great idea for an invention, but I didn't know where to start.
I was
taken advantage of by a company.
They claimed they would do all the admin and legal work for me to
patent my idea. This campany was to complete the patent
application and find a manufacturer to buy my invnetion; for a fee of
10% of all royalities made. Sounded like a good idea.
But it wasn't.
Instead, myself and 17,000 other inexperienced
inventors gave over $60,000,000 to a company named PAtent &
Trademark Institute of America (PTI). Not onee of those
inventors ever saw a patent, let alone a penny of royality money,
including myself! Why? The company was a fraud, and
did not deliver the product they promised. Today, PTI was
closed by the
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and currently is in litigation to
retreive
the defrauded money.
Today, nearly 2 years later, the 17K
inventors are uncertain of seeing any compensation for their losses.
Here's
the craziest part.I learned of PTI from a TV
commercial on the Discovery Channel! To this day, I still
can't believe how brazen PTI was to advertise their scam on national
television!
Why am I telling you all this?
I dont want anyone to lose a penny more to corrupt companies, or to
other E-Book writers, that just tell you whay you
already know.
The dream of invention is
very real to me.
There is money to be made, and lives to enrich! But
beware, there are companies who offer you the moon! They
promise to work for you. In all seriousness, they are only
working for themselves.
If these "patent firms" were
serious about working
for you, they wouldn't have any up front fees. They would
only take a commission on the royalities made from the sale of your
invention! Think about it!"
You the inventor
are more that capable of
performing all these functions at a fraction of the cost, and on your
own time table.
My goal is
to educate you on the patent process. I want you to
understand how to attain a patent pending invention, accomplish this in
the least amount of time, and spend the least amount of money
possible.
Above all I
want you to have a good time inventing!
Invention is what drives our great
country and it will always play a large part in the growth of
our society and economy.
